Four Benefits of Commercial Maintenance Agreements

There are several reasons why businesses benefit from commercial maintenance agreements from the right HVAC company.

When a business owner or manager uses commercial maintenance agreements from an experienced HVAC service provider, they can expect to receive special attention and a high quality of service. Commercial services for businesses usually include maintenance agreements, but what exactly is the commercial maintenance agreement? What are its benefits? Keep reading to get the answers to your questions.

What Is a Commercial Maintenance Agreement?

A commercial maintenance agreement is a service plan where an HVAC company will offer preventative maintenance services for a business's HVAC system. The maintenance agreement also includes several other benefits that can save both time and money for the business owner:

Benefit #1: Lower Cost Repairs

By joining a commercial maintenance agreement, the business will enjoy a discount on HVAC repairs. Depending on the agreement, this discount can range from between 10% and 15%.

Benefit #2: Priority Repairs

Should the business need HVAC repair services, the maintenance agreement will ensure the business receives service before any other customer who is not a member of a service plan. This means faster repairs when the business needs it most.

Benefit #3: Warranty

The exact warranty provided will depend on the HVAC company. If typical repairs would not be under warranty, the maintenance plan will add a warranty. If a warranty is already present, the maintenance plan will usually extend the warranty. This can provide peace of mind to business owners and allow them to manage costs more effectively.

Benefit #4: Emergency Services

Any customer is eligible for emergency services, but members of the commercial maintenance plan will get priority service if there is a backlog of repair work. Additionally, there will be no extra charge for after-hours service or repairs. Many businesses operate very early in the morning or late at night, so this is a great cost-saving benefit.

My husband and I want to start up our business soon and wanted some tips on what outside services we'll need. I didn't know that when you sign a commercial maintenance agreement with a company, you get priority service if there's a backlog of repair work; that's a great cost-saving benefit since there's no extra charge either. I'll have to keep that in mind when I look around for maintenance companies my husband and I would like, thanks to this post!!

I can imagine that a business could really benefit from getting the right maintenance for their refrigerator in order to be more effective. Making sure that they can get it repaired by a professional could allow them to be safer. It was interesting to learn about how they can save time, and money with the right maintenance agreement for a company's systems.

I like the idea of having a maintenance agreement to make sure that the HVAC services are always repaired on time. No one wants to their unit to break down on them in an inconvenient time. Having it serviced regularly seems like the only way to really plan ahead.
